Citizen Petition Shows Investigation Needed At Reading Parking Authority
(Reading, PA) -- A public hearing and investigation regarding the Reading Parking Authority will need to be decided on by Reading city councilors. City Solicitor Michael Gombar says a citizen petition is asking for an investigation into the authority's finances. Councilman Chris Daubert said at Monday night's meeting that there was nothing for the council to act on yet. He did say that any councilmember could proceed by introducing an ordinance and the idea would be considered from there.
