Five Berks Teams Qualify for District 3 Football Playoffs
(Reading, PA) -- Five Berks teams have qualified for the District 3 football playoffs. Wilson (Class 6A), Exeter (Class 5A), Twin Valley (Class 4A), Wyomissing and Schuylkill Valley both Class 3A, have all made the cut. Exeter and Schuylkill Valley will begin play this week. The ninth-seeded Eagles will play eighth-seeded Hershey in a first-round game in the 12-team field at Hershey Park Stadium at 7 p.m. The fourth-seeded Panthers will host fifth-seeded Littlestown at 7 p.m. Four-time defending champion Wyomissing earned the top seed in the six-team field and a quarterfinal bye. The Spartans will host the winner of the Schuylkill Valley-Littlestown game in a semifinal Saturday, November 11th at 1 p.m.
