> Collection Drive on Veterans Day will Help Homeless Vets
(Reading, PA) -- A Reading non-profit will be hosting a collection drive on Veteran's Day to help former service men and women who are homeless. Leaders at Opportunity House say donating gently-used clothing, shoes, furniture, housewares, cookware and other items can help vets get the support and services they need as they rebuild their lives. Donations on November 11th will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the donation center of the OppShop, at the rear of the store on North Fifth Street.
