Berks County Celebrates Taylor Swift's Person Of Year Honor
(Reading, PA) -- People in Berks County are celebrating one of their most famous citizens. Taylor Swift, who has roots in Wyomissing, was named Time's 2023 Person of the Year on Wednesday. The honor comes after the pop star's historic year, in which her Eras Tour grossed more than a billion dollars. Swift has said her childhood in Pennsylvania inspired her songs "Seven" and "The Best Day." The family moved to Nashville when Taylor was 13 to help her pursue a music career.
