Reading Royals Collect 3K Teddy Bears for Holiday Giveaway
(Reading, PA) -- Officials with the Reading Royals ice hockey team say they've collected more than three thousand teddy bears that they're handing out for the holidays. The stuffed animals were taken after fans donated them at the team's recent teddy bear toss. Reading players and staff dropped off bears to the nonprofit One Luv Outreach Tuesday afternoon. They'll give away more bears on Saturday as well for One Luv Outreach's holiday toy drive.
