Code Blue Issued for Reading, Berks County
(Reading, PA) -- The Animal Rescue League of Berks County has issued a Code Blue for pets in the city of Reading. It's in effect from today until Sunday due to expected wind chills of 22 degrees or below and possible snow, ice and regular temps below freezing. Anyone who owns or has custody of a dog in Reading must bring the animal inside for the duration of the code, except for supervised and necessary bathroom breaks and exercise. Anyone who witnesses an animal left out in the elements should call the Animal Rescue League.
