>President Recognizes Berks County Teens For Volunteer Work

(Reading, PA) -- A group of Berks County teens has been recognized by President Biden for their volunteer work. The President's Volunteer Service Award is a prestigious national recognition program presented on behalf of the commander-in-chief. It acknowledges young people who have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to volunteerism and service. Most all of the recipients from Berks County attend Wilson High, except for one person who goes to Berks Catholic High School. Their work was facilitated through the Youth Volunteer Corps of Reading, a program hosted by VOiCEup Berks.
