Cumru Township Commissioners Vote to Withdraw Appeal Intervention

(Reading, PA) -- Cumru Township commissioners are no longer supporting zoning changes that would let a series of planned warehouses be built. Commissioners voted 3-2 late last week to withdraw the township's intervention in an appeal of a zoning board decision. That decision was to uphold a zoning change for the warehouse site planned for the intersection of Route 10 and Freemansville Road. Action on the plans has been postponed until the appeal is finished.
