>Democratic Incumbents, Challengers Reportedly Raising More Funds

(Reading, PA) -- Most Democratic incumbents and challengers in U.S. Senate races are apparently raising more funds than their opponents. Federal Election Commission statistics show during the last three months of 2023, Dems acquired bigger bankrolls with which to start of the new year. Pennsylvania Republican David McCormick, a former hedge fund manager, out raised incumbent Senator Bob Casey, who is seeking a fourth term. McCormick raised five-and-a-half-million in the fourth quarter, including one-mil of his own money. That was more than Casey's nearly four-million raised,. However, Casey ended the year with nine-and-a-half million in the bank, while McCormick had a little over four-million.
