>Lebanon Valley College Receives $6.2M Donation From Former NASA Engineer
(Annville, PA) -- Lebanon Valley College is getting an over six-million-dollar donation to use toward its physics program. The gift is from the estate of the late Doctor Elizabeth Baines and her late husband James. The former NASA aerospace engineer graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1964. The school says her career at NASA spanned the entire length of the space shuttle program. LVC officials say they will use the money to expand the physics lab, to fund a staffing position and to help students with research.
