Reading Councilor, Magistrate Judge Attend Dominican Heritage Event In DC
(Reading, PA) -- Reading's First District councilmember is talking about her recent trip to Washington D.C. that was for leaders of Dominican heritage. Vanessa Campos says the purpose of the "Dominicans on the Hill" conference was to hear about the Biden Administration's governmental efforts for Latinos. She was joined on the trip by state Representative Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, and Priscilla Campos, who is the first Latina in the city to be named a magistrate district judge. Campos is also a Dominican American.
