>Reading Council To Decide On $65K In Repair Work For City Pool
(Reading, PA) -- The Reading City Council will vote soon on whether or not repairs should be authorized for the College Manor Pool. Members of the College Manor Swimming Association had asked council leaders last month to consider allocating over 65-thousand-dollars for the work that needs to be done on the 65-year-old neighborhood pool. Council leadership says that kind of capital improvement project may qualify for the city's ARPA funds. The council is scheduled to take up the matter at Monday night's meeting.
