(Reading, PA) -- Ten Reading-area boys basketball teams are competing in the District Three playoffs that begin today. Berks Catholic, which is in the 4A division, is the only team from Berks to earn a top seed. The other nine teams to earn berths are Wilson and Reading High in 6a as well as Exeter, Muhlenberg and Fleetwood in 5a competition. Four-A include Schuylkill Valley and Oley Valley. Antietam and High Point are playing in 2-A and 1-A divisions respectively. Berks Catholic got a buy in the first round. So they're waiting to see who'll they'll play from the winner of the eighth-seeded Panthers (15-6) and number nine Middletown in the quarterfinals on Friday. That game will happen at 7 p.m. at Berks Catholic.
