Berks Legislative Candidate Withdraws From Primary
(Lower Alsace Twp, PA) -- A Berks County Republican has withdrawn his name from the primary ballot for the 126th state House district. James Oswald of Lower Alsace Township decided to withdraw after an objection was filed against his nominating petitions for the primary in April. Rather than fight the challenge in court, Oswald has decided to withdraw from the ballot and wage a write in campaign. Challenges have also been filed against two of the three Democrats seeking the 126th district seat.
