>Pair Convicted Of Murder In Reading Double Homicide
(Reading, PA) -- Two men were found guilty of first degree murder by a Berks jury on Wednesday for a double homicide during a drug deal in Reading. Jonathan Rodriguez and Emanuel Soto were accused of killing the two victims in March of 2022, after agreeing to buy five pounds of marijuana from them. Prosecutors say Rodriguez and Soto had no intention of paying for the marijuana, and they killed Taurice Green and Marques Sudler of Reading on Miltimore Street. A jury also convicted the men yesterday for conspiracy and other offenses.
