Primary Ballots Set in Berks County for State Legislature

Primary Ballots Set in Berks County for State Legislature

(Reading, PA) - Several challenges have now been resolved so the candidates have been set for the ballot in the upcoming April 23rd primary in Berks County. Elections officials say the remaining dispute was from Democrat Winston Dilone, but he has since lost the fight to stay on the ballot for not having enough signatures to qualify. That means there will be no Republicans and only one Democrat in the race to succeed Rep. Mark Rozzi. He has endorsed Jacklyn Rusnock, his former wife, to take over his seat. Rayne Reitnauer is running unopposed in the 130th Legislative District. She will face Republican incumbent Rep. David Maloney in the general election.
