(Ephrata, PA) -- With a first-of-its-kind event, officials with Good Samaritan Services say they've raised about 30-thousand dollars to help homeless people in Ephrata. Organizers say they hope the foodie fundraiser held Tuesday at a brewery is just the first of many similar events to come. Good Samaritan's Mandy Ramos says a dozen other restaurants from Ephrata and Denver also have signed on for similar community-wide events in the future.
