Reading Schools To Get Nearly $2M For Mental Health Needs

(Reading, PA) -- The Reading School District is set to receive over one-million-eight-hundred thousand dollars to promote students' and staff mental health. Officials say the funds are part of Pennsylvania's allocation of a federal program to promote social, emotional and physical well-being. Democratic State Senator Judy Schwank of Berks says the investment shows that mental health is just as important as students' physical health.
