(Reading, PA) -- A banner for Christian Unity has been raised on a flag pole in Reading City Park. The flag bearing symbols of the Christian faith was the first flag-raising ceremony since Mayor Eddie Moran announced a change in venue for such observances. They had formerly happened at City Hall. The mayor has said the decision to move flag activities was made to enhance accessibility, safety and overall attendee experience.
