Former Kutztown University Student Sentenced For Shooting Reading Man
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A former Kutztown University student has been sentenced to up to 30 years in state prison for fatally shooting an 18-year-old Reading man. It happen in a Maxatawny Township housing complex near the school campus in 2022. Xzavier Wayman, who is 23 and from Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder for killing Diego Velazquez in November of 2022 at Advantage Point Student Apartments. The shooting stemmed from an argument at a party.
