Reading Man Turns Self in For Armed Robbery in Franklin County
(Chambersburg, PA) -- A Reading man who has been wanted for armed robbery in the Southgate Mall area has turned himself in. Alfredo Cardona Padilla surrendered to Chambersburg Police on April 5th. He's accused of being one of three armed men who reportedly stole several cases of money from people inside a vehicle. Padilla and the others allegedly held them at gunpoint then fled in a white van that was later seen being towed on the Pennsylvania turnpike. State police traced the suspects from the van registration, which was seen on a turnpike tag reader.
