Four Residents Displaced Out of Cumru Township Group Home

(Reading, PA) -- A Berks County-based nonprofit is asking for help on behalf of their residents who lost belongings in their group home fire. All four people who lived at the home on Harry Avenue in Cumru Township were able to get out safely. A news release from Dayspring Homes says they've temporarily been placed in the organization's other group homes. Dayspring has created an online fundraiser on their website to help with donations. The faith-based organization provides residential group services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
