Berks Encore Reading Center Gets 104K For Upgrades
(Reading, PA) -- A Reading senior center will get over a 104-thousand dollars for facility upgrades. The state Secretary of Aging visited the Berks Encore Reading Center Tuesday to announce it will get one of the largest state allotments. The Casa de la Amistad Senior Center, which is also in Berks County, will get about 15-thousand. The state grants are funded using proceeds from the Pennsylvania Lottery.
