Spruce Street Reopens Near Site Of Partial Church Collapse

(Reading, PA) -- Two streets in Reading have reopened after work on St. Cecilia's chapel shut them down earlier this week. Engineers closed off the areas near the former church on Perkiomen Avenue Monday as parts of the bell tower at the vacant structure had begun falling off. Since the church sits so close to the street, the officials say they were afraid that someone would get hit.
