Fan Blamed For Destructive House Fire
(Berks County, PA) -- The Eastern Berks Fire Chief reports a fan is to blame for a destructive weekend house fire in Washington Township. An Avalon Circle residence went up in flames Saturday afternoon and is being called a total loss. The home's residents and pets were able to evacuate without injury. According to the fire chief, the fan on the home's back deck had faulty electronics.
