Nearly two decades after the tragic death of Brian Frymoyer, the search for his killer remains active in Reading, Pennsylvania. Frymoyer, 39, was shot and killed on January 20, 2006, while walking home from work near Moss and Marion streets. As the 19th anniversary of his death approaches, Berks County District Attorney John Adams emphasizes that the investigation is ongoing, though no arrest has been made yet.
The case has drawn significant attention over the years, with Frymoyer's family holding vigils and working to keep his memory alive. His mother, Irene Frymoyer, recalls the difficulty of accepting her son's death, saying, "The hardest part was for me to accept it because I didn't think he was dead." She hopes for closure and is willing to forgive if she can understand the motive behind the crime.
Crime Alert Berks is offering a substantial reward for information leading to an arrest. Authorities believe someone may have information that could help solve the case. "I am certain that the individual or individuals that committed this crime have not kept their mouth shut," Adams stated. He urges anyone with information to contact the Berks County District Attorney's Office.
The investigation remains active as authorities continue to seek justice for Frymoyer and his family.
