A large fire erupted at the site of a former furniture store in Berks County on Monday night (December 8). The blaze occurred in the 4000 block of New Holland Road, previously home to Davids Furniture and Interiors. According to WFMZ-TV, smoke and flames were seen billowing from the building's roof.
Firefighters responded promptly to the scene, working to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by authorities.
The incident adds to a series of recent fires in the region, including a recent house fire in Lancaster County where two firefighters were injured, as reported by Local 21 News.
